REI, in support of a nationwide campaign, asked Hydro Flask to develop a flexible program to adapt to several iterations of REI gondola and wall systems. Hydro Flask, the colorful leader in stainless steel food and beverage containers, wanted to put product first and tell an authentic brand story based on its Bend, OR roots. The resulting program consisted of chalkboard clad trays and wood messaging panels. As a beacon, the brand logo was stretched in front of another wood panel with a woodblock inspired image of the Cascade Mountains. Dangling in front were carabineer suspended products, easily changeable for seasonal updates.
